Sangha Sunday

The third Sunday of each month is Sangha Sunday!

Our teacher Sakyong Mipham has said that enlightened society begins with individual conversations and interactions. As part of that creation of good society, he also encourages us  as a community, or sangha, to gather socially—eat and celebrate first of all and then meditate (as he says, “in that order”).

Once a month—on the third Sunday of the Month—we will gather to share a potluck lunch, enjoy one another’s company and celebrate the Shambhala Sadhana. The sadhana, written by Sakyong Mipham, is a poetic practice reminding us of the goodness of ourselves, other beings and society itself.

The Sadhana begins at 11:30am, followed by the potluck and celebration. Please come!
